“Now in its 34th year, The Open exists to encourage artists at all stages of their career from across the UK to submit their work as part of a large-scale annual salon show. The Open is a key date in the gallery’s calendar and welcomes over 270 artist of all backgrounds from across Southwark, London and the UK; presenting work across all mediums.This is one of the UK’s last remaining truly open Opens; an inclusive exhibition model where everyone takes part, and all works are installed without any sense of hierarchy.”
