beach days

For me the beach is somewhere I love to sketch, and over the years I have filled dozens of sketchbooks with quick sketches of the English seaside. In this pentaptych, I’ve tried to capture the salty air, glimpses and memories of human activity through the seasons on the beach, whilst bending the rules of perspective for a little mischief.
